After completing his MBBS from Padmashree Dr. D Y Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, he went on to do his Masters in General Medicine from the same institute. Then, he joined Dr. Nimish Nanavati, a leading rheumatologist in Mumbai, as a clinical assistant, where he received extensive training in all aspects of rheumatology. Later, he was attached to P D Hinduja Hospital as a clinical observer. Furthermore, he completed the 13th European League against Rheumatism (EULAR) course and did Fellowship in Rheumatology at P.D Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre.
